Geoff’s Miami adventure began in childhood, when he would visit his grandmother who lived in Coconut Grove. He absolutely loved it. As soon as he had the chance, he moved here from the northeast. That was in 1987 and he’s never looked back.
That’s a big win for our team – and especially for his clients – because Geoff boasts sales and negotiation skills so sharp, they produced two Fortune 500 deals in under 10 years.
Fortune 500-Calibre Sales & Negotiation Skills
In the first instance, Geoff became the Top Sales Representative and the first National Sales Manager of an emerging diagnostic biotechnology company that sold to a Fortune 500 company.
Following that achievement, he co-founded and served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Ultraswim, the patented anti-chlorine shampoo sold worldwide, ultimately negotiating the sale of this business to another Fortune 500 company.
Transition to Real Estate
Geoff next founded Falls Among Gardens, a luxury landscaping design business specializing in creating natural native rock water features and landscapes for private Miami homes. The word of his artistry, perfectionism, and innovation with properties across the city spread fast, leading to features in The Miami Herald’s Garden Sunday section, as well as The Villager’s annual garden tours.
Working in neighborhoods across Miami, Geoff became intimately familiar with the nature, nuance, and appeal of each distinct community. Perhaps inevitably, a passion for real estate grew hand-in-hand with this landscaping business. He soon acquired his real estate license and began networking as a referral agent, connecting clients with well-matched Realtors.
This dynamic provided Geoff with an insider’s perspective on the Miami real estate industry, paired with first-hand experience of the impact that creative aesthetics have on quality of life and home values.
